Patio, pergola, and poolside TV mounting across The Ridges, Red Rock Country Club, The Paseos, The Trails, Sun City Summerlin, and Summerlin West — weather-rated mounts, rust-resistant hardware, and cable you cannot see. Outdoor installs start at $399.
Summerlin backyards face the wrong way for a TV, and almost all of them do it on purpose. The whole community is oriented toward Red Rock, which means the good view and the good patio are usually on the west side of the house — and a west-facing patio in Las Vegas takes direct sun from about two in the afternoon until it goes down behind the escarpment. That is the single biggest thing that decides where an outdoor TV goes here, and it is why a mount that is right in The Trails is wrong two miles up the hill in Reverence.
We plan the position around the sun before we plan it around the wall. Sometimes that means tucking the screen deep under the patio cover instead of centering it on the fireplace. Sometimes it means an articulating arm so the TV can be angled away from the glare at the hour you actually sit outside. In the custom homes in The Ridges and Red Rock Country Club it often means working around a full outdoor kitchen and a pool deck that were designed years before anyone thought about a screen.
What an Outdoor Install Includes
Covered Patio, Pergola & Gazebo Mounts
Anchored into the structure that is actually holding the roof up, not into a shade panel or a decorative wrap.
Weather-Rated Mounts & Rust-Resistant Hardware
Stainless or hot-dip galvanized fasteners and outdoor-rated mounts, so nothing seizes or streaks rust down light stucco after two Las Vegas summers.
Sun-Glare Positioning
The screen placed for the hours you actually sit outside, not squared to the nearest wall — often the single biggest factor in whether an outdoor TV is watchable.
Stucco & Masonry Anchoring
Masonry bits at the right speed, anchors landing in solid block rather than a mortar joint or the stucco skin, and a mount rated for the full weight of the screen.
Exterior Cable Concealment
Power and signal run in exterior-rated conduit or paintable raceway along soffit and column lines, terminated at a weather-rated box.
Articulating & Tilt Mounts
Full-motion arms for backyards where the pool, the seating, and the grill are in three different places — with lock-down rated for wind.

Outdoor TV Installation Pricing in Summerlin
Outdoor TV installation Weather-rated mount, masonry or structural anchoring, leveling, and cleanup on a standard covered-patio installfrom $399
That is a starting flat rate, quoted before we schedule and held once it is quoted. What moves an outdoor job above it is specific and we will tell you which applies before you book: screen size, the length of the power and signal run, what the anchor point turns out to be, whether cable gets concealed in exterior conduit, mount style, and whether outdoor sound goes in at the same visit. Text a photo of the patio and you will get your actual number.
Patio Walls and Anchoring in Summerlin
Patio columns and back walls in Summerlin are almost always stucco over CMU block, including in the newer Summerlin West villages. That is good news for an outdoor mount — block holds a sleeve anchor far better than any interior wall — as long as the hardware is rated for masonry and the anchor lands in the block, not in a mortar joint or the stucco skin. Under Alumawood and lattice covers we anchor to the structural post or the house wall, never the cover panels.

What We Will Tell You Before We Install Anything
An outdoor-rated TV survives out here. An indoor TV mounted on a patio generally does not, and moving it outside voids most manufacturer warranties — you will hear that from us before we hang it, not after it fails.
Heat and dust kill more patio TVs than rain does. Shade, airflow clearance behind the screen, and sealed cable entry matter more than a waterproof rating on its own.
Alumawood, lattice, and most added-on patio covers are shade structures, not mounting surfaces. We anchor to the house wall or a verified structural post instead.
If a wall is not ours to drill — a shared wall, a common element, a rental — we say so and lay out the alternatives rather than putting anchors in it.
Outdoor electrical work has to be weather-rated and code-appropriate. Where that means a new exterior box rather than a longer cord, we tell you at quote time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where should an outdoor TV go on a west-facing Summerlin patio?
As far back under the cover as the seating allows, and usually off-center from the view rather than square to it. West-facing patios here take direct sun from mid-afternoon on, and even a bright outdoor-rated screen washes out in that light. We look at where you actually sit in the late afternoon, then set the position and a tilt or articulating arm so the screen is in shade at the hours you use it.
Can you mount on the stucco columns under my patio cover?
Usually yes. Those columns are typically stucco over block or over a structural post. We locate what is actually behind the finish before drilling and anchor into that structure with masonry hardware. If the column turns out to be a hollow decorative wrap, we say so and move to the house wall instead of hoping.
Do you handle guard-gated entry in The Ridges or Red Rock Country Club?
Yes. Add us to your visitor list ahead of time or give us the gate code, and the guard can call you directly for entry. Gate check-in time is built into the arrival window.
Will an outdoor TV survive a Summerlin summer?
A TV built for outdoor use, in shade, with proper airflow behind it, generally does. An indoor TV hung on a patio wall generally does not — heat and dust are what kill them, and neither is covered by a manufacturer warranty once the set is mounted outside. We will tell you honestly which category your plan falls into before we install anything.
Can you hide the cable run on an outdoor install?
Yes, within what masonry allows. Cable is run in exterior-rated conduit or a paintable raceway routed along a column or soffit line so it reads as part of the structure, and terminated at a weather-rated exterior box. On many Summerlin West homes the builder already left an exterior outlet and a conduit stub near the patio, and we use it.
How much does outdoor TV installation cost in Summerlin?
Outdoor installs start at $399. What moves it above that is screen size, the run length for power and signal, whether the anchor point is block or a wrapped post, and whether sound is going in at the same time. You get the specific number before anything is scheduled.
