Outdoor TV Mounting Built for North Las Vegas Backyards

North Las Vegas outdoor jobs split cleanly by the age of the neighborhood. Aliante, Park Highlands, and Valley Vista are newer builds with proper covered patios, exterior outlets already run, and predictable block construction — those go up quickly. Eldorado, Craig Ranch, and the older Cheyenne-corridor streets are a different picture: patios that were added later, covers of every description, and power situations that need to be looked at rather than assumed.

The north valley is also open. There is less standing between these backyards and the wind than in the middle of the valley, which affects mount choice and where a screen sensibly goes. And we get asked about renting a lot out here, so it is worth saying plainly: there are outdoor options that do not involve permanent anchors in a landlord's wall, and we would rather set one of those up properly than talk someone into holes they will have to explain later.

What an Outdoor Install Includes

Covered Patio, Pergola & Gazebo Mounts

Anchored into the structure that is actually holding the roof up, not into a shade panel or a decorative wrap.

Weather-Rated Mounts & Rust-Resistant Hardware

Stainless or hot-dip galvanized fasteners and outdoor-rated mounts, so nothing seizes or streaks rust down light stucco after two Las Vegas summers.

Sun-Glare Positioning

The screen placed for the hours you actually sit outside, not squared to the nearest wall — often the single biggest factor in whether an outdoor TV is watchable.

Stucco & Masonry Anchoring

Masonry bits at the right speed, anchors landing in solid block rather than a mortar joint or the stucco skin, and a mount rated for the full weight of the screen.

Exterior Cable Concealment

Power and signal run in exterior-rated conduit or paintable raceway along soffit and column lines, terminated at a weather-rated box.

Articulating & Tilt Mounts

Full-motion arms for backyards where the pool, the seating, and the grill are in three different places — with lock-down rated for wind.

That is a starting flat rate, quoted before we schedule and held once it is quoted. What moves an outdoor job above it is specific and we will tell you which applies before you book: screen size, the length of the power and signal run, what the anchor point turns out to be, whether cable gets concealed in exterior conduit, mount style, and whether outdoor sound goes in at the same visit. Text a photo of the patio and you will get your actual number.

Patio Walls and Anchoring in North Las Vegas

Newer Aliante, Park Highlands, and Valley Vista homes: stucco over block, patio roof framed into the house, easy and predictable anchoring. Older Eldorado and Craig Ranch homes: block back walls that hold well, but added-on patio covers that frequently are not structural. We verify what is behind the finish before anything gets drilled, in both cases.

Frequently Asked Questions

I rent. Can I still get a TV set up outside?

Often, yes, and without permanent damage. Depending on the patio, that can mean a freestanding outdoor stand or a post-mounted setup rather than anchors in the wall. If your lease does allow wall mounting, we keep penetrations minimal and patchable. Either way, you should not be putting holes in a landlord's block wall on a maybe.

My patio cover was added after the house was built. Can you mount to it?

Not to the cover itself, in most cases. Added-on covers in Eldorado and Craig Ranch are usually shade structures rather than load-bearing. We anchor to the house wall or a verified structural post underneath instead, which is stronger anyway.

Is wind an issue in Aliante or Valley Vista?

More than in the middle of the valley. These backyards are open, and a light-duty full-motion arm will move in a gust. We spec a sturdier mount with a proper lock-down and put the screen where the patio structure shelters it.

Is there already power out on the patio?

In the newer neighborhoods, usually yes — at least one weather-rated exterior outlet. In the older ones it varies, and sometimes the nearest outlet is old enough that it should be looked at before anything gets plugged into it permanently. We check before planning the run.

Do I really need an outdoor-rated TV?

For a set that lasts, yes. Indoor panels are not built for the heat that collects under a covered patio here in July, and dust does the rest. We would rather tell you that up front than mount something we expect to fail in a season.

What does outdoor TV installation cost in North Las Vegas?

Outdoor installs start at $399. Screen size, the power and signal run, the anchoring situation, and outdoor sound are what move it. You get a specific flat number before we schedule anything.
